Yarmulke (properly pronounced YAHR-mul-keh, but often shortened to YAH-mi-koh, YAH-mi-keh, or YAH-mi-kee) is the common Yiddish word for the head covering worn by Jewish males.

Treyf (sometimes spelled treif or treyfe)
Treyf is a Yiddish word used for something that’s not kosher. The word treyf is derived from the Hebrew word treifah, which appears several times in the Bible and means “flesh torn by beasts.” The Torah prohibits eating flesh torn by beasts, and so the word treifah came to stand in for all forbidden foods. Bubkus: A Yiddish word which means “nothing”, “worthless”
Bupkis is literally translated as “beans” and is derived from a Slavic word for “goat droppings.”
However just to make things confusing, it’s not used as a reference to something edible (beans), or something inedible (goat droppings), but as something worthless (a bean isn’t worth much, and goat droppings even less).
